Parliamentary chairpersom Mr Andrew Chenge announced on Tuesday May 15 that Ms Mhita won the seat in a Monday election conducted in Midland, South Africa.

Dodoma. Handeni Rural MP Ms Mboni Mhita has been elected president of the youth caucus of the Pan-African Parliament (PAP) for three years. 

Parliamentary chairpersom Mr Andrew Chenge announced on Tuesday May 15 that Ms Mhita won the seat in a Monday election conducted in Midland, South Africa. 

"We wish her the best as she is representing the image of our country,"  said Mr Chenge.

Last week, Mr Stephen Masele (Shinyanga Urban-CCM) was elected the second vice president of the  Pan-African Parliament .
