Tanzania government commits to pay Sh59 billion debt to cashew farmers

What you need to know:

  • The government said Sh59 billion it owes cashew  nut farmers for 2018/19 season will be paid by October 30, 2019,  Sh24 billion and Sh9 billion will be paid to service providers and seedling producers respectively.
