TotalEnergies Marketing Tanzania, through its Total Energies Foundation and Nafasi Art Space, has officially launched a new road safety campaign called "VIA CREATIVE."

The campaign is open to primary school pupils in Dar es Salaam and Bagamoyo, and aims to educate them about road safety through art.

The campaign will run from October 9 to 20, with the national finals scheduled for October 13th and the international finals on November 13. Pupils will work in groups of five to create banners that promote road safety and encourage people to change their behavior and attitudes.

Each school will select 10 pupils who will become road safety ambassadors and participate in the national banner drawing competition. The winning group will participate in the international finals alongside winners from other countries in Paris, France.

The Managing Director of TotalEnergies in Tanzania, Mamadou Ngom, said that the company is committed to promoting road safety from the grassroots level up. He hopes that the campaign will help to create a community that cares about road safety and prevents accidents.

The guest of honor, Assistant Superintendent of Police Asulwisye Edward Mwakyonike, Head of Road Safety in the Mbagala Police District, thanked TotalEnergies Foundation for its support and said that the competition will help to foster unity within the community against preventable road accidents.

The "VIA CREATIVE" campaign is a great initiative to educate primary school students about road safety in a fun and engaging way..
