Serengeti.  Thirty-Five residents of Magange Village in Serengeti District, Mara Region, are being held by police allegedly for killing three people.

Serengeti District commissioner Nurdin Babu told The Citizen on Wednesday, September 26, that the suspects were arrested on Tuesday, September 25, following the death of three people accused of stealing cattle.

He named the people who were killed as Magori Nyamhanga and Nyangeresi Mahemba, who are residents of Kemugesi, and Magange Village resident Maro Magori.

According to him, police were still investigating the incident before arraigning the suspects before a court for the law to take its course.
