Zantel keen to woo more customers

Zanzibar. Following the completion of its network modernisation project, Zantel has commissioned a data campaign targeting customers from its stronghold Zanzibar and the coastal regions of the Mainland.

The three-month campaign dubbed “Tunaliamsha Kivingine,” (we are doing it differently)

The company has spent $4.3 million in the past two years on refurbishing data infrastructure to improve its performance.

“As part of celebrating this important milestone, we are giving our customers in the areas special World Cup data packages, through the campaign,” the company said in a statement.

“The telecom industry is always evolving, hence as operator, we have to keep up with its pace to make sure that we provide our customers with the best services. After a lot of hard work, we are extremely excited to announce that Zantel’s data network is better and stronger than ever,” said the head of Zantel Zanzibar, Mr Mohammed Khamis Mussa, at the launch yesterday.

“Although this campaign is mainly for the Isles and Coastal regions in the mainland, we would like to reassure all our customers across Tanzania that Zantel will continue to invest in advancing its network infrastructure to ensure that we continue to provide world-class network services in all elements including voice, data and internet,” he added.

The company offers 4G internt across the country.
