Bongo Flava fans who follow Kenya’s Otile Brown and Tanzania’s Diamond Platinumz have reigniting their feud with some alleging that Diamond has sampled Otile’s beats.
Fans claim that the sample in question was taken from Otile’s song ‘Such kinda love’ which was released in May 2021 featuring his former signee Jovial a hit that has since amassed over nine million Youtube views.
The two artistes are yet to addressed the , however, fans believe Diamond did not actually conceptualize the beat himself.
The new song is still up on Youtube and has not been flagged for copyright infringement.
While entertainers do it for fans, part of their work is also a major business venture and such claims may cost either party a handful if the matter turns to be a legal issue.
