Rayvanny: One year of growth and freedom away from WCB

Rayvanny, today marks one year of independence since leaving Diamond Platnumz's WCB Wasafi record label.

The founder and owner of Next Level Music (NLM), Rayvanny has carved a successful path as an independent artist, experiencing significant growth both personally and professionally.

Rayvanny explained that his decision to leave WCB was driven by a natural desire for progress and a chance to empower rising stars.

"It's just a natural progression to move from one place to another," he said. "I reached a stage where I felt I could take the next step and use my experience to support other talented artists."

Rayvanny expressed his gratitude for the fruitful year he's had with NLM and acknowledged the positive strides he's made. He also emphasized his continued respect for WCB, noting that he informed Diamond personally about his decision in a comfortable setting.

Despite initial tensions, Rayvanny confirmed the understanding and support he received from Diamond.

"We had some challenges, but we managed to end our professional relationship on a positive note," he shared. "We discussed my departure privately, sitting in the living room one day."

Regarding the financial aspect of his separation, Rayvanny revealed that he has settled the substantial amount agreed upon with Diamond.

He even hinted that the sum exceeded what fellow WCB artist Harmonize paid upon his departure.

"It's not something I want to dwell on, but the amount was more than what Harmonize paid," he said. "I have already fulfilled all my financial obligations."

Rayvanny stressed that maintaining peace and respect were his priorities throughout the process. "Money is important, but in the end, what matters most is keeping a positive relationship and having love for one another," he stated. "We ended things like a family."

Diamond Platnumz corroborated Rayvanny's statement, confirming that he received a significant sum upon Rayvanny's departure. When asked about the difference in financial settlements between Rayvanny and Harmonize, Diamond denied claims that Rayvanny hadn't paid. "Rayvanny actually paid more than Harmonize," he clarified.

This past year has marked a significant shift in Rayvanny's career. He has demonstrated his artistic maturity and entrepreneurial spirit, solidifying his position as a leading force in the Tanzanian music industry.

His journey serves as an inspiration to aspiring artists and entrepreneurs, proving that success can be achieved through dedication, integrity, and a commitment to supporting others.

As Rayvanny embarks on his next chapter, we can expect even greater achievements and continued contributions to the vibrant Tanzanian music scene.
