Afeni Shakur Davis, Tupac Shakur's mother, dead at 69
Afeni Shakur Davis, mother of rapper Tupac Shakur, died in Marin County, California on Monday night, according to the Marin County Sheriffs Office. She was 69.
Officers responded to a report of possible cardiac arrest at 9:34 p.m. in her home Monday night, the police reported in a series of tweets, and she was transported to a hospital and pronounced dead at 10:28 p.m. A cause of death has not been revealed but the Sheriff’s Coroners Office will lead an investigation.
