An international company with a branch in the country, Cheki Tanzania has launched a product for electronic clearing and forwarding and clearing of cars.
Cheki Tanzania General Manager, Mr Mori Bencus said on Thursday that they started offering such services following the growing demand for direct import of cars from overs.
Bencus said although there are other companies facilitating importation of cars, their product was different in that they integrated clearing and forwarding services to reduce the cost of clearing a vehicle.
“We have already given car buyers a wide range of cars to buy from overseas reliable dealers and this clearing and forwarding service will facilitate clearance of cars from the port which will save car buyers cost and waiting time,” said he said.
