RAS slot gets ten new faces

President Magufuli has appointed 10 new Regional Administrative Secretaries (RAS), retained 13 and reshuffled two others as he continues to craft his new government.

Chief Secretary Ambassador John Kijazi said in a statement issued in Dar es Salaam yesterday that 10 new appointees out of total 25 would be sworn in tomorrow at the State House.
Dar es Salaam. President Magufuli has appointed 10 new Regional Administrative Secretaries (RAS), retained 13 and reshuffled two others as he continues to craft his new government.
Chief Secretary Ambassador John Kijazi said in a statement issued in Dar es Salaam yesterday that 10 new appointees out of total 25 would be sworn in tomorrow at the State House.
The appointees are Mr Richard Kwitega (Arusha), Mr Selestine Gesimba (Geita) Mr Armatus Msole (Kagera) Eng Aisha Amour (Kilimanjaro) Mr Zuberi Samataba (Coast), Mr Albert Msovela (Shinyanga), Dr Angelina Lutambi (Singida)
Others are Mr Jumanne Sagini (Simiyu), Dr Thea Medard Ntara (Tabora) and Eng Zena Said (Tanga).
Mr Charles Pallangyo, who was serving Geita region in the same post was transferred to Kigoma region and Dr John Ndunguru has been moved to Morogoro region from Kigoma.
Those who remain in their current posts include Ms Theresia Mbando (Dar es Salaam) Ms Rehema Madenge (Dodoma),Ms Wamoja Dickolagwa (Iringa), Mr Paul Chagonja (Katavi) Mr Ramadhan Kaswa (Lindi), Mr Benedict Ole Kuyan (Mara), Mr Eliakimu Maswi (Manyara).
Others are Ms Mariam Mjunguja (Mbeya), Mr Alfred Luanda (Mtwara), Mr Clodwing Mtweve (Mwanza), Mr Jackson Saitabau (Njombe), Symthies Pangisa (Rukwa) and Mr Hassan Bendeyeko (Ruvuma).
