Winding up his campaign speech in the Parliament, Mr mwalimu, who serves as Chadema Deputy Secretary general (Zanzibar) named President John Magufuli, prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa and leader of opposition in Parliament, Mr Freeman Mbowe, as people whom he will work with closely is elected.
Dodoma. Salum mwalimu, one of six contestants for east African Legislative Assembly (Eala) contestants from Chadema, used names of prominent leaders in the country to lure Members of Parliament to elect him.
Winding up his campaign speech in the Parliament, Mr mwalimu, who serves as Chadema Deputy Secretary general (Zanzibar) named President John Magufuli, prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa and leader of opposition in Parliament, Mr Freeman Mbowe, as people whom he will work with closely is elected.
“(Our political differences aside, when we speak of Tanzania we know that Dr John Magufuli is our President and Mr Kassim Majaliwa is our Prime Minister,” he said amid cheers from the MPs.
