Zitto comforts families of those killed in bus-train Kigoma accident

Dar es Salaam. Kigoma Urban MP (ACT-Wazalendo) Zitto Kabwe has sent his condolences to families of victims killed in an accident that occurred on Wednesday morning after a bus they were travelling in hit a cargo train.
The accident occurred at Gungu area in Kigoma district involving a passenger bus plying between Kigoma and Nzega district, Tabora region and a cargo train.
“We have got a bad accident at Gungu area in Kigoma municipality resulting into many deaths and injuries, we shall keep you updated later on,” said Mr Zitto on his Twitter account.
Earlier, the Kigoma Region Police Commander Martin Otieno said confirmed the incident. “They were traveling in Price Hamida bus, seven have died on the spot and 20 others have been injured,” he said.
