Kamwe said there will be also a series of performances from various artists soon after the team is officially crowned with their 30th title in history.

He said that all VIP tickets have been sold out, while VIP B tickets are available for Sh10,000, VIP C tickets for Sh5,000, and others areas tickets are sold for Sh1,000.

“There will be lots of excitement during the 30th Mainland Premier League title celebrations. We call on our fans to come to the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium to witness this historic occasion.

Apart from that, we will have a special parade the following day to celebrate throughout the streets of Dar es Salaam.

This will surpass anything football stakeholders have experienced in the past. We need to have a big party as we have won the title for the third time in a row, and as per rules and regulations, we now own the trophy forever,” said Kamwe.

Kamwe also promised a surprise for Yanga fans, members, and Dar es Salaam residents.

Meanwhile, Kamwe said Yanga’s match against Dodoma Jiji FC, scheduled for Thursday, May 23, 2024 at the Jamhuri Stadium, has been dedicated to the team’s head coach, Miguel Gamondi, and his technical staff.

He said that Gamondi and the other technical staff have guided the team well to win the title with three matches remaining.

Kamwe called on all fans to attend the match to honor their coach and the technical staff.

He also said Yanga’s players will attend a Parliamentary session on Thursday, May 23, 2024 morning following an invitation from the Minister for Culture, Arts, and Sports, Damas Ndumbaro.

During the session, Minister Ndumbaro will present the ministry’s budget for the next fiscal year.
