Serengeti MP decamps to the ruling CCM from Chadema

He becomes the fourth MP from Chadema to have decamped to the ruling party.

Mara. Serengeti Member of Parliament Mr Marwa Ryoba (Chadema) has called it quits with his party and joined the ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM).

He announced the decision on Thursday September 27 evening. He said he was quitting from his party to support the ruling CCM Chairman President John Magufuli's efforts to transform the country economically.

Announcing the decision, Mr Ryoba said during the campaigns he promised his electorates that he would help them transform their lives economically but he failed to do so, under Chadema.

"I urge Serengeti residents to elect an MP from the ruling CCM if they want the constituency to transformed economically," he said.
