Lady Jay Dee to promote local designs
Bongo Flava musician Lady Jay Dee
The legendary Bongo Flava musician, through her Instagram page offered an opportunity to fashion designer and other creatives to provide outfits and accessories for her next song which was scheduled to be shot in South Africa on January 10 (yesterday).
She asked those interested to send in their work via email or through WhatsApp. She advised them to consider featuring authentic African designs in their work, but also a bit of modern taste. Lady Jay Dee is known for her active videos which often promote African culture. This will be her first video of the year. She has a number of projects planned for 2019 and she’s decided to hit the ground running by shooting the video in South Africa.
Fans will wait in anticipation for the final product once it’s released to the public.
