The advice was given by the TTCL’s outgoing company secretary and head Legal and Regulatory Affairs, Ms Gilder Kibola at a brief farewell ceremony that took place over the weekend in Dar es Salaam.
Dar es Salaam. Tanzania Telecommunication Company Ltd staff have been urged to work diligently and increase efficiency and make the company a model of excellence.
The advice was given by the TTCL’s outgoing company secretary and head Legal and Regulatory Affairs, Ms Gilder Kibola at a brief farewell ceremony that took place over the weekend in Dar es Salaam.
Ms Kibola retiring after serving TTCL since 1996 where she started as a principal legal officer.
She said that TTCL staff should support their Chief Executive Officer in efforts to take the company to the next level.
“Be united as you seek to increase efficiency,” she said. She noted that young TTCL employees should learn from their seniors.
“The future of this company lies in your hands, make sure that you learn from your senior colleagues,” she told junior staff.
She also ask TTCL to push for physical exercises among for its staff because people who are physically fit attain higher productivity and efficiently. “Various researches show that exercises help increase efficiency…you should seriously consider engaging in exercising .”

The TTCL CEO, Dr. Kamugisha Kazaura told Ms. Kibola that the company will miss her, especially her charm, elegance and professionalism.
“Your gap will be felt but our comfort is that you have left behind a strong team you have been part in creating,” he said.
The company’s Manager, Legal Affairs, Ms. Lugano Rwetaka said that mama Kibola’s contribution in various areas is known and appreciated.
“We cannot go into details but she worked diligently to ensure that the Board receives the required attention, perfect documentations and is well informed of the company issues,” she said.
“The Board appreciation to her work was a credit not only to herself but to the department as a whole…we are proud of that,” she noted.
