Phoenix Assurance boosts motor policies

Dar es Salaam. Phoenix Assurance has announced the launch of its Utulivu services which is an added benefit to all Private Motor Comprehensive Policy holders.

According to the insurer Utulivu is a 24/7 roadside assistance service for private motor Comprehensive Policies within the Dar es salaam region at no additional cost.

The 24/7 roadside assistance service includes, battery Jump starting, flat tyre assistance, lost keys, fuel delivery, onsite minor repairs and towing.
“We saw a gap in the market for private car owners who often experience such inconveniences while on the road and struggle at time to find timely assistance without having to reach out to family or friends.
We believe as a responsible insurer to offer such services to our customers will provide an even more assurance that their insurer is a phone call way in the event the may find themselves in any of the mentioned challenges day or night,”  said Ashraf Musbally, the Phoenix Assurance CEO.
He further added: We would like to point out that the Utulivu service is not an insurance cover but an additional service at no extra costs to the clients.  We take this opportunity to remind all our Comprehensive Policy holders to use this service.
Phoenix Assurance’s private motor comprehensive policy covers for: accidental and fire damage to your vehicle, loss of vehicle or spare parts or accessories, protection and removal after accident, third Party Liabilities (damage of property, death or injury), riot and strike cover (non-political), medical expenses cover up to a stated limit and authority to repair damage to vehicles up to a stated limit.
