Have faith in CCM, Magufuli urges voters

Addressing a campaign rally in Buchosa Constituency, Sengerema District, Dr Magufuli reiterated that he was the only presidential candidate who could serve Tanzanians diligently and maintain peace and national unity. “Some people are running away from our party after realising that their days are numbered after I take office,” he said.

Buchosa/Geita.  CCM Presidential candidate yesterday John Magufuli asked Tanzanians to have confidence in his party, which he said was built on a strong foundation of peace and equality.

Addressing a campaign rally in Buchosa Constituency, Sengerema District, Dr Magufuli reiterated that he was the only presidential candidate  who could serve Tanzanians diligently and maintain peace and national unity. “Some people are running away from our party after realising that their days are numbered after I take office,” he said.

He pledged to revive an unused cotton ginnery at Nyakalilo Village, adding that  the aim was to establish more factories and improve the fortunes of cotton farmers in Lake Zone regions.

The CCM presidential candidate also pledged to upgrade the Sengerema-Nkome  and Nyehunge-Kahunda-Bukokwa-Nyakalilo roads.

He also promised to waive levies imposed on entrepreneurs so they could do their businesses without fear. “For that to happen I ask you to vote for me,” said Dr Magufuli.

While campaigning for the CCM Buchosa parliamentary candidate, Dr Charles Tizeba, Dr Magufuli denied rumours that they were not in good terms. “There are people who are spreading lies about Dr Tizeba and me.  Just ignore them. Vote for Tizeba because I know him very well and he is hard working and diligent… I promise you that I won’t let you down,” Dr Magufuli said.
