Samia appoints six new chairs to lead key public institutions

Dar es Salaam. President Samia Suluhu Hassan has made several high-profile appointments, picking six individuals to chair various state-owned institutions.
Samia has named Mr. David Nchimbi as the new Chairperson of the Tanzania Telecommunications Corporation (TTCL) board.

In a statement released by the Chief Secretary, Dr. Moses Kusiluka, on Thursday morning, it was also announced that Ambassador Aziz Mlima will serve as the Chairperson of the National Ranching Company (NARCO).

Additionally, Ambassador Maj. Gen. (Rtd) Gaudence Milanzi has been appointed to lead the Tanzania Posts Corporation (TPC), while Ambassador Valentino Mowola has been selected to chair the Universal Communications Service Access Fund (UCSAF).

Appointed to the list is Col. (Rtd) Joseph Simbakalia, who will chair the board of the Tanzania Engineering and Manufacturing Design Organization (TEMDO).

Also, the President has appointed Prof. Neema Mori to chair the board of the national carrier of Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL) for the second term.
