Dar es Salaam. Football giants Young Africans (Yanga) today at 7pm will kickstart their campaign for defending the Azam Federation Cup title by hosting Kurugenzi FC of Iringa at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

The match is expected to be tough and thrilling with each team targeting victory.

He noted that they are the defending champions of the competition and they target victory in order to maintain their status in the competition.

He said all his players are in good shape and ready to deliver their best in the game against the team that also target victory.

“Every team is focusing on good results and the title. So, we hope to win this encounter. Just let’s wait and see,” said Kaze.

Kurugenzi FC coach Denis Nkulu said they respect Yanga, but, he added, the match’s regulation time will give the result.

“We are unfazed by Yanga in the encounter. We are prepared for the game that will likely be tough, but we will fight hard to emerge victorious,” said Nkulu.
