Dar es Salaam. Yas Tanzania, in partnership with its digital service brand Mixx, has officially announced its sponsorship of the Ndondo Cup 2025 tournament — one of Tanzania’s most celebrated grassroots football competitions.
Speaking during a ceremony held on Monday evening, the Southern Dar es Salaam Zone director for Yas, Robert Kasulwa, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to empowering Tanzanian youth through sport and digital innovation.
“We are proud to be part of this historic tournament that brings together youth teams from across the country,” Kasulwa said. “Ndondo Cup is not only a stage for thrilling football competition but also a powerful platform for unearthing and nurturing young talent, both nationally and internationally.”
Kasulwa noted that the sponsorship aligns with the goals of Yas ongoing Anzia Ulipo campaign — a movement launched in June that encourages Tanzanians to start transforming their lives using available tools, particularly technology.
