Dar es Salaam. SportPesa has financed the construction of Kizimkazi Dispensary doctors housing units in Southern Unguja District in Zanzibar.

Although the value of the financing was not revealed, the Vice President, Ms Samia Suluhu Hassan, has congratulated the company for it support, which will ensure improved residence for the dispensary workers.

The Vice President made the statement yesterday when visiting the project site, whose construction is expected to be completed in the near future. She lauded SportPesa for assisting the healthy sector and build the house to be used by two doctors, who serve Kizimkazi suburb and other neighbouring areas.

“With these housing units, doctors will stay comfortably and serve the community as they will be living in a good house, I call other firms to give back to the community,” said the Vice President.

SportPesa’s Director of Administration and Compliances Abbas Tarimba said SportPesa feels proud that his firm was involved in the construction of the house.

Mr Tarimba said Kizimkazi residents believed on them and that is why they decided to build the house after realising challenges that the medical experts go through.

“This is part of our corporate and social responsibilities because serving the societies is in our mission and vision,” said Tarimba.

One of the dispensary’s doctors, Mr Suleha Nuhuu, thanked the firm for the support saying it will help end housing challenges.
