Dodoma. The High Court’s Main Registry in Dodoma has agreed to proceed with a case filed by advocate Peter Madeleka against the President of the United Republic of Tanzania and the Attorney General, challenging the decision to cancel this year’s Union celebrations.
Presiding Judge Juliana Masabo on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, directed the Government to file its counter-affidavit by December 5, 2025, and set December 8 at 2pm as the hearing date.
