Nyota Bigi talent search underway, winners to pocket Sh15 million

Dar es Salaam. Kunta Studio in collaboration with EFM, TvE & Bxtra Global have launched a new talent search competition titled Tanzania Nyota Bigi

This initiative aims to offer a platform for young, talented individuals across Tanzania to showcase their artistic abilities, according to Bxtra Global Limited Founder and CEO, Hermes Bariki Joachim.

Joachim, also known as Hermy B, said the competition will focus on discovering a wide range of talents, including singing, dancing, magic performances, and other creative arts. According to a statement released by the organizers, the total prize pool exceeds Sh15 million.

He said the grand prize winner will receive Sh10 million, while the second-place winner will take home Sh3 million, and the third-place winner will be awarded Sh2 million.

In addition to the cash prizes, the overall winner will receive a talent management and music recording contract from B-XTRA. They will also benefit from a talent promotion package offered by TVE and EFM.

Auditions are scheduled to take place on June 28 and July 2, with additional sessions planned for July 5 and 12. All auditions will be held at the TVE and EFM offices located in Mbezi Beach, Dar es Salaam.

The statement encouraged young Tanzanians with dreams of nurturing their talents to register through Nyota Bigi’s social media platforms or by sending a message or calling 0745 667 661 or 0674 764 274.

He explained that all forms of talent are welcome, and young people with diverse skills are highly encouraged to register and take part in the competition.
