Dar es Salaam. With just over a month remaining before the Kilimanjaro Premium Lager International Marathon 2026, organisers have announced that registration is nearing capacity and may close at any time.
In a statement issued in Dar es Salaam, organisers said registration will be shut once the maximum number of participants is reached, urging prospective runners to secure their slots while space remains available
Entries are limited across all three race categories—the Kilimanjaro Premium Lager 42km Full Marathon, the YAS 21km Kili Half Marathon and the CRDB Bank 5km Fun Run—to comply with World Athletics safety standards on carrying capacity.
“Once registration is closed, no further entries will be sold,” the statement said, noting that participant limits help ensure a safe and enjoyable race experience while allowing organisers to adequately provide hydration, medical care and other essential logistics along the route and at the finish.
Runners have also been advised to collect their race numbers in advance from designated centres in Dar es Salaam, Arusha and Moshi.
The Dar es Salaam collection point will be at Mlimani City Mall, in front of Samaki Samaki, from Friday March 13 (4pm–7pm), Saturday March 14 (10am–6pm) and Sunday March 15 (10am–6pm).
In Arusha, race numbers will be issued at Kibo Palace Hotel on Tuesday March 17 and Wednesday March 18, from 2pm to 7pm on both days.
The final collection point will be Moshi Cooperative University (MoCU), where numbers will be available on Thursday March 19 (12 noon–5pm), Friday March 20 (10am–6pm) and Saturday March 21 (9am–5pm).
