Dar Salaam. Long-distance runner Alphonce Simbu said yesterday lack of training was the main reason he failed to finish the men’s marathon at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest.
Simbu limped out of yesterday’s race at the 35-kilometre mark after running out of steam.
