AccessBank educates SME customers on financial skills

  • AccessBank Tanzania Limited has conducted a financial management know how to its customer as part of the bank’s mission to improve customer relationship.

Dar es Salaam. In a move to improve financial management skills, Access Bank Tanzania recently conducted a business forum as part of building technical know-how for its customers.

Beneficiaries of the programme, which was held over the weekend were SMEs, micro, agro and deposit clients. The objective of the programme is to improve customer relationship and acquisition.

The bank’s chief executive officer, Mr Armando Massimiliano Sirolla, noted that: “In order to connect and be closer to our clients we hold these regular business forums with focus on customer relationship. To us we put you (customers) first.”

He said the training, sponsored by the European Investment Bank, gives the bank a chance to broaden its customer knowledge on new products and services by the bank.

He said the other predominant objectives of the forum was to equip AccessBank’s Dar es Salaam SME, Micro and Deposit clients with the right understanding and know-how on growing business operations in the long-run while having sound control of their finances.

During the closing of the “2019 Business Forum” there was a Question and Answer session.

Mr Athuman Ayoub a bank customer said: “We thank AccessBank for being among institutions that care about their customers. You (AccessBank) thought about us and took the time and effort to bring us together and enhance our partnership.” AccessBank is a commercial bank that works with small and medium businesses in Tanzania.

Shareholders of the bank include AccessHolding, International Finance Corporation (World Bank), KfW, the African Development Bank and MicroVest.
