Dar es Salaam. This year’s Idd-ul-Fitr is expected to fall on June 15 or 16, the National Muslim Council (Bakwata) has announced.

The event depends on the sighting of the moon, according to Mufti Abubakar Zubeir bin Ally.

 Dar es Salaam Chief Sheikh Alhadi Mussa Salum was quoted on Tuesday, June 12, as saying President John Magufuli was expected to be the chief guest of Idd Baraza to be held at Mnazi Mmoja grounds.
