Kagera. In its continued mission to promote agricultural development in the country, the Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank (TADB) has conducted a special seminar for farmers in Bukoba District, Kagera Region.
The seminar, held at the ELCT hall, brought together about 100 farmers to learn more about the financial services offered by the bank.
Through the training, farmers had the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge on accessing agricultural loans, production support services, and effective ways to fully participate in the agricultural value chain.
The seminar reflects TADB’s commitment to advancing productive, inclusive, and sustainable agriculture that transforms lives, communities, and the national economy.
Alongside the seminar, TADB announced plans to open a branch office in Kagera — a strategic move aimed at bringing services closer to farmers, livestock keepers, and other stakeholders in the agricultural sector.
The new office is expected to strengthen communication and collaboration between the bank and farming communities, ensuring faster access to services, enhanced accountability, and greater economic and social development through agriculture.
